Here are some of the key team members who work hard every day to ensure the success of your shuttle operations:

 

Jeff Leonoudakis, President & CEO

Jeff Leonoudakis is an industry veteran with 32 years of Senior Transportation Management experience.

A founding member of SFO Shuttle, Jeff has a broad range of specialized skills, including safety, maintenance, contract negotiations, human relations and regulatory compliance.

Jeff has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism with honors from the University of California, Berkeley.  He is active in many industry-related trade groups such as California Bus Association (CBA), United Motorcoach Association (UMA), and American Public Transit Association (APTA). Jeff is also past president and currently on the Board of Directors for the Airport Ground Transportation Association (AGTA).


Irene P. Camarena, Director of Human Resources

Irene joined SFO Shuttle in September 2006. A native San Franciscan, Irene brings 12 years of experience in hospitality, strong leadership and a solid record of proven achievements in diverse areas, including employee relations, union negotiations, recruitment and staffing, training and development, and diversity outreach

Irene has been recognized for her ability to create and implement training programs that help employees improve their performance and take their team to the next level.


Broyce Batchan, General Manager, Oakland/Emeryville

Broyce is General Manager of the Oakland Rent-A-Car shuttle bus operation, overseeing the Car Rental Shuttle as well as the Emery-Go-Round shuttle in Emeryville, CA.

Broyce brings over 22 years of public/private transit experience to SFO Shuttle. Broyce started his transportation career in 1986 as a bus washer. He joined SFO Shuttle in 2000, as the Bussing and Facilities Manager at San Jose Airport, and was promoted to General Manager that same year at San Francisco Airport Rent-A-Car shuttle bus, with 5.5 million passengers transported annually.


Helmut Bredow, Bussing & Facilities Manager

After retiring from 26 years of service with Pac Bell, Helmut initially just wanted to stay busy so he took a simple part-time job with Hertz at the San Francisco Airport.  Six years and several promotions later, Helmut transferred to SFO Shuttle Bus Company when they were awarded the airport’s contract.

At SFO, Helmut’s responsibilities have included Training Manager, Director of Safety & Training and Assistant General Manager. Helmut is currently the Bussing & Facilities Manager for the San Jose Consolidated Rental Car Facility.


Jerry A. Gapal, General Manager, Hotel Airport Courtesy Shuttles

Jerry joined SFO Shuttle in 1999 as Operations Manager, and was quickly promoted to Hotel Project Manager and Director of Safety & Training in 2000. Since 2007, Jerry has been General Manager of Hotel Airport Courtesy Shuttles, where he is responsible for all aspects of the operation, including contract compliance, financial performance, staffing, and client services.

Jerry received his B.S. at the University of Baguio in the Philippines in 1986, and has completed numerous safety courses, including Certified Training Instructor from the DMV, Certified Safety Coordinator (J.J. Keller & Associates) and OSHA Compliance (American Safety Training).


Bob Rooper, General Manager, SFO

Bob is General Manager for the SFO Shuttle Bus Company, San Francisco International Airport Division.

Bob has a combined 45 years of diverse transportation management experience. Bob has worked with Greyhound Lines in Portland, Eugene and San Francisco, and with both SFO Airporter and SFO Shuttle Bus Company. 


Alvaro “Jun” Sayong, General Manager, Stanford

Jun has over 12 years experience in the transportation industry.  Jun joined SFO Shuttle as a Project Manager in October 2000.  He was then promoted to Bussing and Facilities for the Rental Car Facilities Consortium at San Jose International Airport. In April 2004, Jun was again promoted, this time to General Manager of the SFO Shuttle Bus Company contract located at Stanford University.

As the General Manager, Jun is responsible for providing professional driving services, advice and assistance to the Stanford University Parking and Transportation Department in connection with the Marguerite Shuttle Bus Service Program.


Andrew Suarez, Operations Manager

Andrew has been with SFO Shuttle since February of 2006, when he started working at our Stanford University office as the office administrator and Charter Desk Lead.

In September 2007, he became the Charter Desk Coordinator at Google Mountain View, and is now the Operations Manager at that location.
